Scale Diagnosis

Step 1: Visual Inspection

Check for build-up on all components of the scale.

Step 2: Verify Indicator

• Keypad
• Display
• Comms
• Use a simulator to verify indicator is stable and repeating

Step 3: Verify Home Run Cable

• Inspect cable for cuts, pinches, and fraying
• Use a simulator to verify stability

Step 4: Verify Load Cells

• Inspect cables for damage
• Check load cell for physical damage
• Check mv and ohms

Step 5: Verify JBox

• Disconnect interconnect cable to isolate issue
• Check mv readings for home run and load cells
• Unplug load cells one at a time to diagnose
